The upsets were not plentiful in the First Round. Only nine games saw the higher seeded team defeat the favored lower seeded team. Wizardry is primarily about picking upsets, but on occasions like this we have to also fall back on all game picking skills. After a review of the First Round, the Commizar has award Wizard status to a fewpeople who are participating in the year's thirty anniversary season. Here are the current wizards of the XXXI BTS Olympiad!

SUPREME ULTIMATE WIZARDS

DAN MILLER
How did he earn this recognition? There were 5 big upset games during the first round, #16 UMBC over Virginia, the #12 over #5 seeds (Buffalo, Marshall, and the #11 over #6 seeds (Loyola-Chicago, Syracuse). As we all know by now, none of our entries picked the Virginia upset, but of those other four, Dan picked three out of the four upsets missing only Buffalo's upset of Arizona. Congratulation Dan for being the best picker of upsets and a Supreme Ultimate Wizard.
