For those of you who have played before you already know this, but Wizardry is not earned by picking all the favorites to win. Any fool can pick the favorites. You may or may not finish in the top 25 by doing that, but that doesn't make you a Wizard. To become a Wizard you need to be able to pick the upsets when they happen. Since almost all of the favorites made their way through to the Sweet Sixteen and thus making this tournament BORING, you will see that there were very few earning Wizard status during the Second Round of action. Only Oregon making the Sweet Sixteen was worthy of potential Wizardry. Here are those that stood out in the Second Round games of the XXXII BTS Shootout!

SUPREME ULTIMATE WIZARDS

DONNIE KENNEDY SR.
Well, as you can guess by now, Donnie did pick Oregon to make the Sweet Sixteen. He did however one up everyone else because he did pick all 16 teams correctly that made it past two rounds. Yes, picking favorites is not my favorite pastime, but knowing when to pick them and then isolate that one team that snuck through, well, now that is something tough to do. Congratulations to Donnie Sr. for obtaining Supreme Ultimate Wizard status.

ULTIMATE WIZARD

MIGUEL BAZAN, ANNA BEALMEAR, SARAH NASH, MARK NUCE
These four also picked Oregon to win and only missed one other team making the Sweet Sixteen. For that achievement they have been awarded Ultimate Wizard status.

WIZARDS

There were 36 entries that had Oregon making the Sweet Sixteen. All the other teams that got that far had at least 118 entries pick them so that won't earn you anything. For those that did have Oregon, we award Wizard status to:
Miguel Bazan, Anna Bealmear, Zoe Burrow, Douglas Cantrell, David Eamma, Mitchell Earley,
Conor Farrington 1, Kim Ferson, "Shooter" Flatch, Anthony Fritsche, Zoie Gammache, Paula Grubb, Kevin Hannan, Cameron Hanover 2, Caleb Helderbrand, Steve Hobbs, Donnie Kennedy Sr.,
Miriam Maisel, McLovin, Alexander Morris 4, Sarah Nash, Kyle Navarro, Vickie Nowak, Mark Nuce, Matt O'Brien 1, Delmar O'Donnell, Jayden Painter, Ryan Painter, Topper Painter, Loren Partridge, Jonny Quest, Rylee Scharfetter, Don Smithson, Rainne Somers, Cy Stanley

Only one person picked against Duke making it to the Final Four. If they would have picke Central Florida, I would gladly give them props, but when you pick VCU, then you are all by yourself.

Antonio Morris

Moving onto North Carolina. There were only two people bet against North Carolina making it to the Sweet Sixteen. They must have copied off of each other. Here's your grade.
