Click on the “Bracket” tab on the menu bar just below the Big Texas Shootout logo.
On that page, click on the “Download Bracket” button.
You will first see a page on how to download Adobe Acrobat and then the second page will be the bracket. As strange as this sounds, go ahead and close this window by clicking the “X” in the upper right hand corner of the window.
Now let’s open the downloaded file. Here might be the most difficult part for some of you:
Open Windows Explorer or File Explorer (people call it by two different names) on a PC or Finder on a Mac.
On the left side of the window, look for a folder called “Downloads”.
Look for a file named Bracket_2020. Double click to open.
Now you are on your way!
Fill out the entire bracket including your Name, Address, e-Mail, Referral, and whether you’ve played before (spacebar or click). Take your time and make sure you fill in the correct name of the team you expect to win in the boxes provided. Be very careful when you get to the Final Four. We have arrows pointing to the correct box associated with those games.
Don’t forget to enter a Tiebreaker score. This is the combined total number of points of the final game.
You should now Print a copy of your picks for future reference.
Now, SAVE the File and change the name of the file to your entry name. This just helps me sort through entries when loading them into the database.
When you are ready, generate an e-Mail and attach this file with your picks and send to bigtexasshootout@gmail.com
Check to make sure your entry was received by going to this website and under the News/Updates section, you will find lists that shows all the entries that I’ve actually received. Check the posting date and time as it does take me some time to process.
