Second Round Recap

UPSET PICKERS

In the Second Round there really wasn’t any “upsets” of the games played. However, North Carolina State getting through as the #11 seed would be considered an upset pick if it wasn’t for Oakland getting past the first round. Here are those that had NC State in the Sweet 16:

David Gammache, Steelskins Gammache 4,

Caleb Helderbrand, Cristin Hiatt, Sarah Hobbs,

Tom Kay, Kevin Knapp 3, Stanley Macadory,

Tom Mock, Alexander Morris 3, Matthew Murray,

Troy Willis, and Todd Wilson.

There were three more teams seeded 5th or 6th that got through. So including NC State, that’s four teams that snuck in. Only one entry had all four picked. That was

Hard to believe but there were only a few that actually had three of the four picked to advance. They were:

Shooter Flatch, Mike Hobbs 2, Sarah Hobbs,

Charles Kersten, Tom Mock, Matthew Murray,

and Todd Wilson

GAME PICKERS OF THE FIRST ROUND

Of course there were 16 games played in the Second Round, thus the name Sweet Sixteen. Out of 16 games, one entry picked 15 of the 16 correctly. That is going to bode well as we move to the next round. Watch out for:
